Buoyed by the improvement of the second book, I was happy to have a go at the third.

I ended up not enjoying this one hugely though, I just find her style of writing doesn’t seem to agree with my brain and it’s just a bit tiring for me to keep the thread of the story. The sentence structure and cadence just always throw me off rhythm and then I spend more time rereading words than letting my imagination run with the story.
